BHC Study Lounge

On Wednesday, we went to BHC Study Lounge, where we study every day. We went there to see whether it is a good place for us to study. It is on the third floor and easy to find. When we got there, we saw many books and some interesting paintings on the wall. It looked like a small library, and made me feel calm. There are several desks and chairs, and you can choose wherever you want to study. Then we took some beautiful pictures there. The sunshine was very warm. I almost loved that place. I strongly recommend the students who study in BHC to come here to study. It is not far from your classrooms and there are fridge and microwave. If you feel hungry, you can eat here. Is it sounds great?

Our group went to the lounge in the Blank Honor Center yesterday after class. It is not a very big place but you will feel relax and quiet. Many students were doing their homework and reading their favorite books in the lounge. It is really near our classroom and you just need to go up two floors. Hence, I think it is a good place for us to study after class. Compared with main library, this lounge does not have enough books in it and it just a convenient place for us to choose. If you need to find some books, I think the lounge in the Blank Honor Center is not enough for us. However, if you just want to find a place to study, it is really a good place for us. After you finishing your task, you can go to Burge to have a dinner. From my perspective, everyone will have a good experience in the lounge. I will go there to study in the future with my friends.

Our group members went to the BHC lounge to study on October 21st, 2015. It was really close from our classroom since our IIEP classes are in BHC building. All we have to do was go up to 3rd floor right after we were done with classes on Wednesday. When we get there, I had to register for the lounge to use. When we were studying in the BHC lounge there were not very many people in there so we could study really well. I think BHC lounge is great place for student to study. I was glad to be there with my group members and study with them. I think all of my group members thought in the same way too.

On Wednesday October 21st, 2015, three of my class mates and I went to Blank Honor Center Study Lounge. The third floor of the BHC is prepared as a study area for student. There are many choices for student to study reserve individual rooms, group spaces and general spaces include small library. Actually I liked this place too much because it is very quiet area that might give you a very good environment for studying. The most I liked in this center is the individual rooms, but unfortunately we could not use one of them because of its reservation system used that is first come first reserve. This is not a problem since we have alternative choice like the library that we choose to study there. It was very quiet and suitable place for studying. I think you should go there to try this wonderful place.

Public Library

Yesterday after our classes were over, my group and I went to the public library to study, and do our homework. It was little far from our building, but we have been there before, so it was easy for us to get there.  We went to the second floor. There was a lot of tables that we can study on. The place was very good and so quiet. There were fewer students which is better for me comparing with the main library which is full of students. I saw a lot of computers, but unfortunately it can be used for two hours as maximum. On the other hand, at the main library you can use it as long as you want. If you like to read, the public library has a lot of books, so it will be your best choice for you.

On Wednesday our group went to Iowa City Public Library. First we went to the library and get in there. Then we found place to study, so we went to upstair to find study room. This library have clearly arrangement that there are teenager study table, reading table, study room and adults study table. Study room is a very pleasant design that if people need to discuss they can use it. We did not have some homework need to discuss so we just sit adults study table. The environment is suitable for study because there is very quite and very convenient to take some book to read. This is a nice study experience!

This Wednesday, we went to the Iowa City Public Library in downtown. It’s quiet inside, also clean and tidy. There are various books there include the old and newest ones. In addition, the videos there are available to be lent. We picked a table near the window and chose some books to read. It has quite a wonderful environment to read and go over for the test. All of us like this library so much. We will come here more frequently in the following days.

On Wednesday, We had a great time spent in Public Library. After we finishing our whole day study, we walked to our choice --Public Library. When we arrived, I put my book back to the Library by the special way. Than we went to the second floor, found a desk and sat down. It is really a great place for study. We chose our favorite book to read, than discussed what we were reading about. I found the light in the room was very soft and the whole condition was so clean that everyone who studies there will feel relaxed. Than after a while, we decided to leave but come back couple days later. We had a really great day.

IMU River Room

       After class, we walked to IMU river room from BHC. We have lost the way at first and walk to someplace look like a big theater and there is a lot of people who dressed very formal and a bunch of police. It is quite scaring when we pass though, and finally we been river room that le  by Fatimah.

       We set in outside, and the air is fresh because of the rain last night, which make people feel very comfortable and will want to have a deep breath. There is a cafe shop beside and they also selling foods there which make the whole room smell very good.

On Wednesday, our group went to IMU River Room. This place is easy to find. I think it is a good place to study. First, it is very near the downtown. Students after class can go to this place to study, it very convenience. This place has another reason for convenience. The River Room has a dining room that next door. If students feel hungry, they can eat some delicious food after studying. What’s more, there are some tables in outside for students. There is beautiful scenery. I was reading novel while I enjoying beautiful scenery. And outside is quieter than inside. It is a good place to study.

This Wednesday, our group went to the IMU River Room. I have been there  many times for having lunch, but I don't know there is a also a study place. This place is pretty good for study for several reasons. first, is pretty close to every building in downtown, everyone can go there to study after class. Second, you can chose both study outside or inside. Its really pretty outside, and it is a very enjoyable thing to study with the sunshine. Finally, the IMU's food is pretty delicious, so that after study, you can just go here and enjoy your delicious meal. It's really a good place to study.

     On Tuesday, I went after classes to the IMU River Room to study with my classmates. I really like the place because one of the walls made of a glass, so you can enjoy the nature and the river front of you while you are studying. There are many differences between IMU River Room and The Main Library which they are places that I usually go to study there. First of all, The IMU River Room and The Main Library have computers that the students can use them, but IMU River Room doesn’t have a printer to print what they need. Also. IMU River Room has a restaurant that people can buy food from it if they became hungry while they are studying. On the other hand, The Mail Library doesn’t have a restaurant that people can buy their lunch, but it just have a small cafeteria sales snacks. In addition, The Main Library is more quiet that IMU River Room and the person can focus if he or she wants to study. However, IMU River Room is more loud because people go there to study or eat, so It's a good place if the person want to do his homework. In conclusion, IMU River Room and The Mail Library are good places to study and each of them has it's featchers.

      On Tuesday, we went to the Main Library after we finished our classes. The weather was raining and cool, so we used the umbrella. The Main Library is not far which is near the engineering building. There were many different things attract me in this place. The most important things to me is that this place is a good place to study because it is very quite and has a lot of items to help people for study like computers, scanner and printer. There were many choices to where we can sit. We could sit in the first floor near to the cafeteria or sit in the second floor in the computers or sit in the student rooms. We chose to sit in the first floor near the cafeteria because we thought to buy some food. The Main Library has a lot of floor and many big windows that we could enjoyed outside scenery. I found the people around me were students or couples. It is a good place for students to study. Also it is a great place for teachers and professors to work in it. It has a lot of lights which help the people to study and not make more pressure for the eye. We this place is so good. When we outside the door, many people came to the Main Library which make me so excited to go in this place every day. We enjoyed to study in this place.

    On Tuesday, we had a good time on the Main Library. In the past, I often went to library to study. In my opinion, library has good atmosphere for study. However, I like the Main Library more. There are more people in the library, and there are lots of private rooms for group discussion. This is the most important part that when you want to find some places and you do not want to interrupt others, the rooms are always the best choice. However, in my hometown, there are not this kind of rooms and  most of people play games at there. To be honest, I dislike it, but sometimes I do not have other choices. In some special situation, I have to talk loudly with my teammates in the library. Is it ridiculous? Thus, when I know we have these rooms, I am released and I needn't to worry about the group discussion. Plus, there are two parts. One is for study, you can borrow the book at the other one .I haven't borrowed the book, so I don't know what they have. However, I think it is better than the places I went before.

    We decided to go to the main library after class and stayed there to study. When we went out the teaching building, we could see the sky was turning to gray. It was going to rain! We moved fast to the library, there were already numerous people sitting and studying. It took a couple of time for us to seek for 4 seats, since there were too many people. I thought half of them came here was because of the coming raining…. just kidding! We finally found a relevantly nice place to sit and started to do our separate thing. I glanced on the surrounding people —— they were all enjoyed with the environment. The library also provides a tiny food market for people who are hungry because of studying for long time. Wide space and food supplement, I believe that main library should be a wonderful place to study and read.

      This week I went to the main library with my group members on Tuesday afternoon. We did not have a lot of homework because we just had finished our midterm exam. The main library was a good place to study. I found the library have a lot of people who were studying. It provided many computers, and it was convenient to print paper. Firstly, we entered the door and found a comfortable place that I remembered was near the food store in library because we were hungry and wanted to buy some food. We chose a table that can contained four people to sit. Then we did our homework independently. After finishing our homework, we worked together to check out our homework. We chose our own mistakes to correct together, which was more efficient than finished it by myself at home. At last, we took a break and took a picture of us. Unfortunately, it is raining outside at that time. So, we left the library. I love studying in this library so much. I want to recommend other people to go to this library to study.
