Basta Pizzeria Ristorante

Our Experiment By Lin.

This week, I and my team are going to visit a pizza place, so we decide to visit pizza pit on Friday, and have a lunch there.

 On Friday, we went to the pizza pit together after class, none of us have been there before so we were following the Google map, when we been the pizza pit is around 12 o’clock, we took a selfie in front of door. However, when we walked in the and ready to order the pizza, the waiter told us pizza pit do not have a sit, they only have delivery service. So we decided to the other pizza place, and we been ‘Basta’ after 15mins walking.

When we walked in to ‘Basta’, it only several people were there, maybe is too early for lunch, we have a set beside the window and ordered 3 cups of water excepted Albert have a soda, the waiters told us we might need 2 pizza for 4 pizza, cause each one only have 6 pieces. So we ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Quattro Formaggi pizza. The pizza was coming slow, so we were talking about our countries together, and then we realized that Ibrahim can not have any thing with pork, so he could not have the pepperoni one.

About 15mins later, the pizzas were coming, they taste quite good, we all like it, even I am not a pizza fans. We have a grade lunch and conversation together, after having lunch we went back each one’s home and start our 3 days weekend.

 I like this restaurant, because we suffered a lot before finding it! At first, we chose to go to PIZZA PIT, but we could not eat there. It means that we had to carry out, so we had to change the place. Finally, we arrived BASTA. You can choose to sit outside or inside. It was too hat on Friday, so we chose to sit inside. However, if you choose to go there in a good weather, I think it will be a different experience, because you can enjoy the feeling about the wind is swapping on your face. Next time, I will choose a good day to go there. After waiting in fifteen minutes, we could enjoy the meal! We ordered two kinds of pizza. One looked like red lantern, its name is PEPPERONI, and the other was filled with sesame leaves. First sight, I thought the second one couldn’t taste good. However, I was totally wrong. After trying that, you can see how perfect it is.  The sauce can counteract the smell of sesame leaves, because if you just eat sesame leaves, it is hard for you to swallow them. Besides, when you chew the crust, it was cooked truly well and you could not stop eating! At last, I was deeply attracted by the restaurant. I will go there as quickly as possible!

As we reached the restaurant, the waiter asked us where we want to sit inside or out side and definitely we chose to sit inside after long walking in the hot weather to find the place of the restaurant. Before we looked to menu, we took some rest and drank some iced water. After that we asked each other if there are some kinds of pizza that any one dislike. Then we asked the waiter about the size of the pizza. After she told us that size is 12 inch, we decided to order two and shared them between us. The order took around twenty or twenty five minutes to be ready. It is a little bit long, but it was ok. The hardest thing in this visit for me was to understand the names of pizza types and their ingredients.

 I’m going to compare Basta Pizzeria Ristorante with the Pizza Hut in China.

 1.There are not to many pizza covered with vegetable purely in Pizza Hut China. In Basta Pizzeria Ristorante, we close a kind of pizza covered by leaves of sesame. Yes, it is green. Mostly I will choose meat pizza actually. But this pizza tasted delicious.

 2.Basta Pizzeria Ristorante is more comfortable than Pizza Hut. In my opinion, Basta Pizzeria Ristorante’s decoration style felt more warm than the snack restaurant Pizza Hut. I can be more relaxed here when i eat our pizza.  

 3.Basta Pizzeria Ristorante is more traditional. America has its pizza culture, we can find out what is the real traditional pizza looks like. Conversely, we can not touch the pizza hut in a snack restaurant in China.

 To sum up, we had a very happy lunch together.
